The Intercom app turns an Android device into a walkie-talkie and allows us to communicate with other mobiles without the need for an internet connection.

Use your Android as a walkie-talkie

Did you know that you can communicate with a mobile phone without an internet connection? By downloading the APK file of this simple application we'll be able to use a smartphone like a walkie-talkie... but in a light version.

How to communicate with an android without internet

Intercom is a very simple app that enables communication between mobile phones via the WiFi network and Bluetooth. In other words, we can send voice messages to our contacts without an internet connection, turning the phone into a kind of walkie-talkie.

Best of all, no registration or account creation is required. Just open the app, search for users on the WiFi network or via Bluetooth and send a message. In addition, we can send messages via the PTT (Push-to-Talk) button or configure the system to record the sound automatically.

Otherwise, it features a fairly basic interface with a retro feel. Of course, the range is smaller than that of other apps that use the Internet, but for that it offers us the advantage of being able to communicate even when we don't have access to the network of networks.
