Nowadays, buying used items at really cheap prices or selling your own products that you no longer use and are just collecting dust to make some money is easier than ever. Trending in some countries are apps like Wallapop, an app that makes it extremely easy to post an ad to sell something or search for bargains among the thousands of ads available.

And with an almost identical feature, most people in certain European countries, like the UK, Italy or Germany, use Shpock Fleamarket instead of Wallapop

How does Shpock work?

Once you've downloaded its APK file to your Android smartphone or tablet, although it's also available for iPhone and iPad, the best thing to do is to register using a Facebook account or an email address. Although you can browse the app without doing so, it is entirely necessary in order to make a purchase or sale.

If you're looking to buy something, browse all products for sale by distance (to find bargains nearby), browse through the available categories, or just search manually. If you're keen on something, tap its description to read more details, and from there you can ask the seller questions about the item and even make an offer privately.

However, if you want to sell an item, just upload a picture of it, give it a name, write a short description, choose the most appropriate category, determine the starting price of the product and click the Sell button. Then you can just sit and wait for the offers.
