Talkatone is an application with which you will be able to make phone calls and send text messages for free in the United States and totally for free.

Talkatone is a free, unlimited internet calling service that gives you a number in the US. The app automatically generates a number, which you can then use to send messages and call other numbers in that country without paying long-distance or international rates.

Your US phone number

With this app you can call people who have a number in this country but also send messages containing text, photos and animations in GIF format. You can also call people who have a number in another country. You don't need a network operator for this, because it works via the VoIP protocol (you only need an internet connection).

You just have to allow the app access to your address book and then you can call any number in it. However, please note that the app has restricted calls to emergency services. There are also charges for users calling and messaging non-Talkatone users. In other words, to be able to call for free, both must be registered with a number granted by the service.
