Whatsapp Indigo for Android is a MOD of the famous chat and instant messaging app with which we can add new functions and features to the original client.

Adding new features to WhatsApp

WhatsApp MODs have become very popular to include features that the messaging app hasn't thought of introducing at the same pace as the demands of its users. That's why many people consider them interesting tools to customize this chatting app.

Indigo, between violet and blue

Hidden between WhatsApp Plus, YOWhatsApp or OGWhatsApp we can find this Whatsapp Indigo, an evolution that offers us similar functions to the rest of the MODs but with its personal touch based on the indigo color. In any case, although similar, we must take a look at its features:

• Developed based on the official WhatsApp Messenger APK.
• Ability to customize the app with your own themes.
• Greater variety of emojis. Elements such as symbols or chat bubbles adapted to Indigo mode.
• More options when it comes to managing our privacy and freezing the last seen time in our chats.

The only downside, which is quite important, with this MOD is that although you download its APK and try to install it, there isn't much you can do because it hasn't been updated for quite some time and its update system is obviously on based on the original WhatsApp will force you to upgrade to a newer version of the app.

• Installing the app using the APK file requires enabling the "Unknown Sources" option in Settings > Applications.
