Smartphones are gradually replacing many everyday objects. With secure payment methods and the appropriate management of bank cards, thanks to apps like Stocard, they have become virtual wallets.

The loyalty card manager for Android

This system allows us to add different customer and user cards to then use them directly from our phone. How it works is very simple: we just have to choose our card and scan the barcode to add it to our user profile. Then, when you want to use it in a store, all you have to do is run it through the scanner.

These are its main features:

• Can be used without login processes.
• Over 300 loyalty cards are available: IKEA, Waitrose, Tesco, Superdrug, British Airways, Sainsbury, BP, Iberia...
• Ability to add loyalty cards that are not yet available through the Other Loyalty Card option.
• Location widgets: Based on our GPS position, we are shown the most important customer cards for our current position.

You have to keep in mind that some stores still use quite outdated scanning methods, so your smartphone screen might not be read properly... in which case Stocard might not work for you. In this case you can enter your customer number manually.

All in all, this application will help us gain a little more space in our bag and also organize ourselves better. We don't have to worry about losing our cards... except of course if we lose our smartphone. By the way, there is also a version for the iPhone and the app is compatible with smartwatches.
