Iriun 4K Webcam

Iriun 4K Webcam is a camera application that is able to turn a smartphone into a webcam simply by connecting the phone to a PC or a Mac using a USB cable.

Turn your Android into a webcam

To turn a smartphone into a webcam for your computer, all you need is the Iriun 4K webcam installed on either Android or your Windows or Mac computer.

A webcam connected via WiFi or USB

This software allows us to take advantage of the camera capabilities of our mobile device to use it as a webcam. So we can use it for virtual meetings with programs like Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. The configuration process of the app that turns your phone into a webcam is very simple:

1. Step 1: Connect the computer and the Android device to the same WiFi network (it is also possible to connect using a USB cable).
2. Step 2: Launch the app on the phone.
3. Step 3: Start Iriun Server on the computer.
4. Step 4: The phone will be connected automatically.
5. Step 5: Configure the app on the computer to use the phone as the audio and video source.

With this system we can have video conferences with whoever we want, but we can also use it as a security camera to record any movement or intruder in our home.
