Earthquakes shake the earth more often than we think. Thanks to this official app of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), we can receive and send warnings of earthquakes, tsunamis and other natural disasters.

Information about earthquakes in real time

LastQuake is a smartphone earthquake detector that boasts several features. After downloading the APK file we will see a list of the latest earthquakes and other natural disasters. We can display them according to their importance and their proximity to our location. Information includes time, exact location, depth, intensity, maps and user comments.

If we think we feel an earthquake, we can send a notification to the app. We just have to touch the button at the bottom of the interface and choose one of the images that best describes our situation. Then we can write a comment in which we can integrate photos, images and videos.

In addition, the app also offers us information and data in real time. Because users can participate themselves, the system takes only a few seconds to assess the impact of an earthquake and alert the vulnerable population. You can also designate an emergency contact to text to if you are in an affected area.
