Annelids

Annelids is a militar strategy game for Android devices that takes up the torch of the video games series Worms, but adds up quite a bit more action.

Join this bloodthirsty war between worms

If you've played a game in the Worms series when you were young, this game will seem vaguely familiar. The difference is that it omits the turn-based combat and focuses more on the action and the movement of the worms in the settings.

Choose how to kill the worm

In an underground setting, the goal of our adventure is to kill all the enemy worms using a series of different weapons. For this we have different game modes:

• missions
• Daily duels
• Custom Game
• multiplayer mode

We can also choose the type of battle we prefer, be it a team deathmatch, conquest, destroying all enemies, capturing the flag, or the classic game King of the Mountain. We can run the multiplayer mode online or via Bluetooth. Here we can choose between PvP battles (player versus player) and cooperation of up to six players.

Annelids consists of almost 70 missions with 17 maps and a variety of weapons. To find out what you have available, swipe your finger across the top left corner of the screen and select the one that best suits your strategy. To move through the scenarios there is a tactile joystick that we can also use to jump to reach the highest and most inaccessible places.

The graphics are plain and simple, and the game rules could be better refined. Still, it's entertaining to spend your time worm-holing. Are you ready for the challenge?
