The fairytale characters leave the pages of the storybook for an unprecedented adventure in an uncharted world. It's a concept that's been used a lot lately, but there's still a lot to talk about.

This game comes from the Big Fish Games studio and is a great example of that. Here we find a funny story and a very addictive gameplay. Can you help the fairytale characters reclaim their homeland?

Fairy tales aren't what they used to be

When people stopped reading fairy tales, a fog descended on the world of our favorite characters. Only we can help them out of this mess. But how? With solving puzzles by combining elements. Along the way, we'll meet a caffeine-addicted Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan and Puss in Boots, among other popular characters, and accompany them on a mind-boggling adventure. And hopefully we'll banish the mist that surrounds the magical world in the process.

The game consists in bringing together at least three of the same elements while we can move them freely on the screen. However, we get better objects if we can combine more than three at once. If we match logs and wooden shacks, we can build a fairytale city with coral castles and enchanted palaces.

There are hundreds of items in our Book of Discovery that can be shuffled, merged, and connected. In addition, it also includes daily challenges and events in which we can compete against other players from all over the world.

It might be true that EverMerge can't really add anything new to the genre. However, it's a very fun game and has the great advantage of telling an impactful story with a modern and eccentric reinterpretation of the fairy tale characters we grew up with. As with other similar games, the graphics and music are extremely nice.
