Now, MyHeritage has expanded its tools with what is, to say the least, "innovative" system. We are talking about an artificial intelligence capable of analyzing old photos of our ancestors and creating short animated videos in which our loved ones "come back to life". The idea is to recreate the person's previous movements before posing for the photo: changes in expression, neck movement, blinking, etc.

The user can try the service for free and animate up to five photos. If they want to keep using it after trying it, they need to subscribe. And how does it work? It's very simple: just upload the image (for the moment only via the web version) and wait a few seconds for the program to analyze the image and show us the animated video. The result is surprising and a bit scary for many, but definitely worth a try.
