What do we see when we look at the night sky? The Stellarium application gives us the answers, letting us identify stars, constellations, and more

Discover the cosmos from your mobile phone

The amazing open-source planetarium for PC makes the leap to mobile with its own app, so we can explore the night sky anywhere. Can you imagine carrying the universe in your pocket? Just download the free APK file.

A fantastic sky map in a portable format

Stellarium is a portable digital planetarium that allows us to observe the night sky as we would see it with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope. It also includes a tool for identifying stars, planets, constellations, satellites, shooting stars, and other celestial bodies.

So it's an alternative to Sky Map, but with a different approach. While Sky Map lets you identify stars and other celestial bodies by pointing your phone at the sky, this tool works by location. In this way, it shows us the night sky at the location and invites us to explore the entire sky by sliding our finger on the screen.

Also, we can see the stars in the sky for any date and time and get detailed information about the celestial bodies. And there are even cultural dates of other civilizations.

In short, this is one of the best apps to explore the charms of the universe. Fans of astronomy and stargazing shouldn't miss this portable planetarium.
