This simple app offers us thousands of live broadcasts from different radio stations, such as police or fire stations. But we can also listen to air traffic, weather and even amateur radio broadcasts. All we have to do is open the app, find the channel that interests us the most, sit down and relax.

An alternative radio on your Android

We can choose the radio stations of this app from different categories. These are the following:

• favourites.
• The top 50 scanners.
• Nearby scanners.
• New scanners.
• Directory by genres.

In addition, we can directly use the search engine, configure notifications or receive information from Scanner Radio. On the other hand, the app offers us different themes to customize the interface - including a night theme.

When we look up a scanner, we can see its name, where it's broadcasting from and through, and the number of people listening to it. We can mark any live broadcast as a favorite, get information about the station, record the audio file, change the sound properties, set the auto-off timer, query codes and characters, and even find the location of the station on the map, and much more.

As if that wasn't enough, the app also includes widgets and a notification system. And if you activate the location of your device, you can even search for the scanners in your area.
