Galaxy is an alternative store to Google Play where we can find all kinds of apps and games sorted by categories to be able to download them free of charge.

A great alternative to Google Play

Most of us usually use the official Google Play Store to download free or paid applications, since we think that they are more secure and that we already have them installed by default on all our devices.

However, you should know that there are other alternative stores that usually contain applications that cannot be found on the official marketplace because they go against Google's policies or because they harm the internet giant in some way. For example app store applications, apps that allow us to download videos from YouTube or watch paid TV channels via streaming, or even MODs of applications developed with the source code of the official app, among others.

A new and complete PlayStore

Today we present you the new store that is looking for its place on the market: Galaxy. Although it has just appeared, it already has hundreds of applications organized by category that can be easily downloaded to our phone:

• To eat and drink.
• Shopping.
• Sports.
• Lifestyle.
• Family.
• Education.
• Photography.
• games.
• music and audio.
• Weather.
• And many more.

There is also a search button in the bottom right corner that allows the user to search for apps using simple search terms. The results displayed are fast and accurate, and each app's datasheets are packed with great detail.

The latter contain even more information than the Google Play Store and are much more visible and accessible to the user. From top to bottom we find:

• The name of the app and the download button.
• The memory used in the phone and the size of the APK, user ratings (up to 5 stars), the app category and license type.
• screen captures.
• The number of ratings and comments from users who downloaded and tried the app.
• The Android permissions required by the app for installation.

Finally, we have to point out that the app isn't perfect since the store offers certain applications that cannot be downloaded and the app doesn't always work as stably as it should. However, if its developers keep up the good work, this store could become a huge success.
