A slightly different family tree

Kinsmap is a family tree app with a difference. It's not the typical app to create them, rather it serves us to offer a broader perspective of our family.

To use it, the first thing we need is our family tree in GEDCOM format, which we can get through our genealogy program. Then all we have to do is load it into the application and let the system work its magic. In a matter of seconds, our family tree is transformed into a fan or wheel chart that shows us ancestors and descendants in pie charts with a biography section, sources, a zoom tool and a change in the central person.

But this tool is also complemented by a map of relatives, where we can see how they have migrated over the years. It also includes color codes to show the distances between the birthplaces of different relatives. This is a fantastic app if we want to take our family tree to another level.
