QuickPic - Photo Gallery with Google Drive Support is an alternative gallery for Android to store your photos just in case you don't like the native one.

Alternative to your default gallery

Do you remember how you used to go to the photographer to have your film developed every 24 photos? Back then, it was really hard to show someone your vacation photos or embarrass your kids by posting baby pictures in front of their girlfriends. Now it's much easier for us to bore our friends with our favorite pictures because we usually carry them around with our phone. But sometimes the gallery app installed by default on our mobile device is not as good, complete or simple as we would like. Don't worry, there are plenty of alternatives for Android, as in the case of QuickPic - Photo Gallery with Google Drive Support, developed by Cheetah Mobile.

Why does this name ring a bell?

Basically, if you've been wondering why the Cheetah Mobile name is so well known, it's because they're the guys behind Clean Master. Therefore, the app is quite similar to the app in terms of aesthetics. And also fast and quite comfortable to use. You can view your saved photos by folders, by moments (dates), or by recent files. In addition, it also includes a function to send photos to other devices on the same WiFi network.

What else? The app also comes with a preinstalled 500px album, but you can add others by subscribing or using cloud storage from the following services:

  • flickr
  • Amazon.
  • Caja.
  • Drop box.
  • Google Drive.
  • OneDrive.
  • OneCloud.
  • Samba.
  • Picasa.

If you want to try the app, you can download and install the APK for free. What's more, it comes with 2GB of free space on CM Cloud so you don't lose photos due to lack of space. You only need to register with an email and a password to access all its advantages.

Requirements and further information:

  • Minimum operating system requirements: Android 4.0.
