VirtualXposed allows you to install a virtual space on your phone where you can clone applications that we can modify to customize their functions.

Xposed Framework for non-rooted devices

The Xposed Framework is a development that allows us to customize our Android device and take it to another level, installing modules that allow us to change our apps and even how the operating system works, giving us a completely new user experience to offer. The only disadvantage? That we must have superuser rights and therefore we must root our mobile device.

VirtualXposed: Android customization taken to the extreme

Thankfully, rovo89's development isn't the only one that allows us to do this. The Chinese developer Weishu has created a similar system where we don't need root access to our phone. So we can easily install Xposed modules, unlock the bootloader and change the system image. Of course, its features are a bit more limited than those of the Xposed Framework, but VirtualXposed is definitely worth a try.

With this software, which looks like a simple launcher, we can create virtual or parallel rooms in which we can run the APKs of any app as if they were plugins. With these modules or plugins we can modify the operating system and the applications that we clone. So we can remove ads from applications, download YouTube videos, have more control over our chat messages, fake our GPS position and enjoy many more features.

What modules can be installed with VirtualXposed?

You can access all of them on the official website of the service, but we list the most interesting ones:

• XInsta: a version of Instagram with more options like downloading videos or copying comments.
• YouTube Adway: a clean YouTube client.
• Disable-FLAG_SECURE: a service that enforces screenshots in applications that don't allow them.
• Minminguard: a module that removes ads from apps and the gaps that may remain after removing ads.
• Various modules for WeChat that add automatic replies, batch message deletion or automatic translations to messages.
