Zampoña

Zampoña is the Android application that emulates the popular panpipe that's traditional in Andean countries of the likes of Peru, Bolivia, and Ecuador.

The Android version of the Andean pan flute

The zampoña, siku or pan flute is probably the most representative musical instrument from the Andean region of Peru and Bolivia, as well as other Latin American countries such as Ecuador, Colombia, Chile or Argentina. This application is an emulator of this wind instrument that will allow us to create the typical sound that we immediately associate with this American mountain range.

With this app for Android we can play this instrument and create melodies on the go or play any other melody that we know. For this purpose we only have to cut one of the holes to produce the sound that can be heard with an excellent quality. Also, it has multi-touch support so we can play several notes at the same time.
