Angry Birds Rio arrives us a joint adventure on behalf of Rovio and Fox as a tie in for a movie. It's now one of the most downloaded games of the saga

The angriest birds in mobile gaming

If there is one mobile game saga that has become extremely popular since the beginning of its market breakthrough, it is undoubtedly Angry Birds. Starting with its first title with a very simple goal (eliminate all the pigs on screen), it has slowly but surely evolved into a whole host of sequels and spin-offs of the original game.

But what's so special about Angry Birds Rio? It works the same as the original game, but includes a few changes that make it quite different from Rovio's first title. For example, the nasty pigs are not the opponents here, since there is another goal. And yet the gameplay is just as addicting as ever.

Save the birds and escape from Rio de Janeiro

The original Angry Birds are no longer on their territory: they were kidnapped from Rio de Janeiro. They must escape from their prison if they want to return home. On their way, they must rescue their macaw friends, as well as Blu and Jewel (main characters from the Rio and Rio 2 movies). There are so many levels that we'll struggle to complete them as they increase in difficulty and design becomes more and more intrusive.

Here are the main features of the game:

  • 320 game levels in total.
  • Epic battles with final bosses.
  • Special powers for your birds.
  • In-game objects that you can use to unlock more levels.
  • The chance to buy the Mighty Eagle.
