A few years ago, the Finnish company Rovio released a game of logic and skill puzzles that became the first global hit among mobile video games. We're talking, of course, about Angry Birds Classic, the first version of which is still very popular among mobile gamers.

What is Angry Birds and how to play it?

As we said before, it's a logic puzzle game where the aim is to use our catapult to launch the birds against the structures where the pigs are sheltering. When calculating our shots we have to consider several aspects such as: B. the strength used, which affects the curve described, or the place we want to hit depending on the stability of the structure to be destroyed. Our goal is to kill the pigs, no matter what the cost.

The player can use different birds as projectiles: yellow birds, red birds, black birds... each of them behaves like a different weapon in this challenge of eliminating all the egg-eating pigs.

This is the Android version of Angry Birds, which is as successful as the iPhone version. And if you want to download Angry Birds for PC, you're in luck because you don't have to get the APK file and mess around with BlueStacks or any other similar emulator: there's an official Windows version.

What birds are in this game?

• Yellow Bird: If you click it, it will accelerate for a moment and destroy any breakable materials like wood and glass it hits.
• Blue Bird: This little bird splits into three parts when you click on it and destroys all the pigs and glasses it hits on its way.
• Black Bird: This heavy bird explodes a few seconds after hitting an obstacle or being clicked, destroying everything around it.
• White Bird: If you click on it while it's in the air, it will drop an explosive egg that will destroy almost everything around it if it touches anything.
• Green Bird: This bird changes direction when you click it and uses a boomerang effect that has much more destructive power.
• Big Brother Bird: like the red bird, but much bigger and more destructive.
• Orange Bird: The last bird added is very small at first, but when you click it fills with air and becomes huge.

This game has grown into a successful franchise that has given rise to new titles within the saga such as Angry Birds 2, Star Wars, Evolution, Go, Epic... and also a movie, cartoons and all kinds of merchandising like T-shirts, mugs and many other things depicting the birds and pigs featured in this game.
