Bubble Bobble is the Android smartphone version of the legendary platform classic that swept into the 80s and 90s across all major gaming platforms.

The Android version of the Taito classic

If you don't know what Bubble Bobble is, maybe it's because you're very young. It's one of the great classics of the 80's and 90's, a game that triumphed on every platform it was released on, conquering arcades across the planet.

A perfect remake

The goal of the game is to control our dragon Bubblun and throw bubbles in which we can trap our enemies to then kill them by bursting the bubbles. We'll do it over 100 levels to the last monster, jumping over the structures that make them up and over the bubbles themselves. Of progressive difficulty and as addictive as it is fun, it can seem hopeless at times.

This remake faithfully reproduces the original game, except that we can't play with two players like in the original Taito. But other than that, it's perfect for nostalgics and for anyone who wants to enjoy a good platformer game. These are its main functions and features:

• Shoot the bubbles to imprison your enemies.
• Hurry up and stop the ghost from appearing.
• Collect the bubbles with the letters to form the word EXTEND and get extra lives.
• Unlock powerups and improve your shot and speed.
• Find special gifts like the stick, the umbrella, the magic necklaces or the watch.

The game also has a very simple game system, reduced to a minimum as in the original: move with your left hand and jump and shoot with your right.
