The first Mario Kart for Android

Over 25 years ago, Nintendo decided to launch Mario Kart. We are talking about 1992 and the game was released for its news Super NES and became a big commercial hit with customers and critics. Since then, there have been several sequels for desktop consoles like the Nintendo 64 or the Wii, as well as for handheld consoles.

Now it's time for Mario Kart for mobile

And since Nintendo started making mobile games for Android and iOS (with Super Mario Run as the most popular title), it's now Mario Kart's turn. And the first game in the series for mobile devices is Mario Kart Tour, which was announced back on February 1st on Twitter, confirming that it's free to launch like Super Mario Run. In other words, we can download it for free, but we'll have to pay as we go through the game.

Just like the rest of the games in this saga, it's a racing simulator (although it's closer to arcade than simulation) in which we'll drive different cars featuring characters from Nintendo's video games. After looking at the first images that the company offers in the form of promotional videos, we can say that it respects the original philosophy of Mario Kart, since it is accompanied by attractive graphics, allowing us to perform all sorts of stunts and breathtaking ones carry out actions behind the wheel of these vehicles.

We must assume that the features offered in this title will bring together all those seen in previous installments of the Mario Kart saga:

• Different game modes.
• Playable characters like Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Daisy, Mii or Peach.
• Objects on the track such as bananas, blue shells, mushrooms, stars...Different vehicle models.
• Various tracks to run around on.

Without a doubt, it's one of the Nintendo titles that couldn't be missing from the catalog of mobile games developed by the Japanese company.
