LightSwitch is a Nintendo Switch emulator with which we can run and play the games of this video console in ROM format on our smartphone or tablet.

A Nintendo Switch emulator for mobile phones

Nintendo has done it again with its Nintendo Switch. The release of this video console has reshaped the way we interact with video games, as has already happened with other consoles such as the Wii, the Nintendo 3DS or the Nintendo 64... or at least when we are refer to those gamers who value a slightly different experience than that of PlayStation or Xbox.

But the particular format of this video console was not an obstacle for us to be able to play all its games on Android smartphones and tablets using emulators for this operating system. One of them is LightSwitch, which can already be downloaded and used despite a project that is still under development.

This emulator belongs to a project called Skyline and is developed by several developers. It comes with a simple interface that allows us to browse through the folders on our device to load games in ROM format without any problem. The games aren't included with the emulator though, so as usual you'll have to figure out how to download them all yourself.

• Installing the app using the APK file requires enabling the "Unknown Sources" option in Settings > Applications.
