Amazon Appstore is the online shopping giant's application store for Android from where we can download games and apps for our smartphone or tablet.

Among the best alternatives to Google Play that we can use to download applications is Amazon's own store. The online shopping giant offers us Amazon Appstore, its own resource to download apps of all kinds.

Here we won't be able to find as many applications as Google's catalogue, but it offers us the main ones and we'll also find some surprises. In addition, if we are Amazon customers, we can link this service to our account.

The application is divided into several sections to sort the content:

• Home: Here we will find the latest updates, recommendations and trending applications.
• Categories: all the sections where the store's apps are sorted.
• Coins: the Amazon Coins system that allows us to save money when downloading commercial applications.
• My apps: a log with all the applications we've downloaded.
• Account: Here we can configure various aspects of our user account.

However, in order to be able to download applications from Amazon's App Store, we'll have to configure our phone as we do to download apps from Malavida, that is, we'll have to allow the download of APKs from unknown sources.
