Melonsoft Sound Meter is an app that turns any Android device into a virtual noise meter. Its great advantage is that its functions have been extremely simplified to make it easy to use.

Once we've set everything up to make the app work (mainly access to the microphone), the device starts picking up all the sounds of the environment and saves them in a graph with real-time results. In addition, it shows us the noise level in decibels and offers a comparison with other noises (whispering, normal conversation, city street...).

In addition, the user interface shows us the maximum, minimum and average values ​​​​in decibels during the recording. And it offers a gauge and various light and dark themes to personalize the display. All in all a simple but effective and comprehensive tool.
