Screen Shift is an application for setting the parameters of a screen on an Android smartphone or tablet, such as resolution, overscan, or pixel density.

Configure your screen's resolution, overscan and density

We've said it many times in Malavida: without a doubt, one of the greatest virtues of Android compared to other mobile operating systems is its flexibility and adaptability. Many users don't care, but it's an added value for those who want as much control over their device as possible.

Set your screen size to your liking

If you want to adjust your device's screen settings, then using Screen Shift is a good option. With this app you can set various parameters such as resolution, pixel density or overscan.

  • Once the necessary permissions have been granted, you reach a menu that controls these three functions:
  • Resolution: Configuration according to your own taste.
  • Overscan: allows the screen borders to be expanded or reduced around the four sides of the rectangle.
  • Density: Ability to adjust the pixels per inch.

Some of these settings are of course limited by the hardware characteristics of the device itself. The app offers the possibility to save settings and apply them to the whole system in general or individually to the apps we choose. It also provides predefined profiles corresponding to specific models of mobile devices.

Requirements and further information:

  • Minimum operating system requirements: Android 2.3.2.
