Douyin

Douyin is the version of TikTok that can be downloaded in China where the content and interface of the app are adapted for the users of the Asian country.

The Chinese version of TikTok

TikTok is currently the fastest growing social network in the world and its influence is spreading to all areas. As you may know, its origin is Chinese, although in China it does not trade as TikTok but as Douyin.

The version of TikTok that operates in China

It's actually the same application that we can enjoy in the rest of the world and in which we can play videos in portrait mode in a full-screen interface that we can interact with by moving our finger if we want to go to the next video and on react to the content. But how do they differ? First of all the interface, which is entirely in Chinese, and then the content: Or did you think the Chinese government would allow its citizens to play the same videos as in the West?

Otherwise we'll find everything we already know from TikTok, including the instant messaging functions, trending songs (in China, of course), discovery of other users, functions for recording and editing content, filters, stickers... but of course everything from a Chinese point of view.

• Installing the app using the APK file requires enabling the "Unknown Sources" option in Settings > Applications.
