Many users who don't want to pay to listen to music from streaming services like Spotify get their music directly from YouTube, as the largest video platform on the Internet has millions of music videos available.

The main disadvantage of listening to music (or watching video clips) from the Google service is that the official application has to remain open without being able to use the Android device for anything else. The Laud Music app, on the other hand, is an alternative app developed by a third party that collects all the music videos on YouTube and offers the possibility to listen and/or watch them from a dedicated window.
