If you played the Bomberman saga in your youth, prepare to relive the old days in a modernized environment. This cute title from Hyperkani studio is a colorful multiplayer bomber game. Our goal will be to destroy our opponents with bombs without letting them finish us off.

Bomb and survive

The game mechanics are very simple. In each game we appear in a maze with other players or enemies. Playing alone against the machine we will have to open the way to the exit with bombs while finding the key and avoiding the enemies or killing them. But every time we plant a bomb, we have to consider two things: that it will block the way (so we won't be able to go out that way) and that the blast wave will propagate in a straight line. We will have to be careful because our own bombs can also damage us.

The mechanics in multiplayer games are very similar. The difference lies in our goal. Here we have to eliminate the opponents without them eliminating us. In each game, two to eight players from all over the world can compete against each other.

Every time we destroy bricks in the maze we get power-ups that allow us to use more powerful bombs. Also, as we progress through the games, as we progress and win matches, we can unlock hats to customize our character, as well as various provocations with which we can (and should) annoy our opponents.

Bomber Friends is an entertaining title that will keep you entertained for many hours. Its graphics aren't particularly outstanding, but they are more than enough to enjoy yourself.
