mParivahan is an app that offers us information about vehicles registered in India allowing us to know the name of their owner or their insurance status.

The Indian government has made an application like mParivahan available for its citizens. Thanks to the latter we can review different services and tools related to the transport sector.

Check the state of traffic or information about vehicles

The application offers the possibility of knowing real-time traffic data from any place in the country, allowing us to plan trips and calculate the time it takes us to get from one place to another.

But one of the most interesting aspects is probably the ability to check number plates and driver's licenses to access useful information such as:

• name of the owner.
• Vehicle registration date.
• regulatory authority.
• Model.
• fuel type.
• year of the vehicle.
• Class.
• validity of the insurance.

Its sole purpose is to provide us with detailed information about all the circumstances that may arise when driving, buying or selling a vehicle or in any other situation where we need to know the legal status of a registered vehicle driving on a public road is used.
