Velociraptor is a floating speedometer app. The user can thus see in real time what speed he is currently driving and receive real-time warnings if he should be driving faster than the speed limit allows.

This is a very useful tool to use alongside other map apps like Google Maps. With this app you always know what speed you are traveling at, regardless of the means of transport used. The maximum permissible speed is taken as a reference. This last piece of information comes from OpenStreetMap, the free and open source mapping service.
