Splend Sound Meter

The Splend Sound Meter application helps us to measure the noise level in an environment with the microphone of our mobile phone or Android tablet.

Do you want to know how loud it is in your house or elsewhere? All you need is an Android device and the APK file of this app.

A digital noise level meter in your pocket

Splend Sound Meter is a tool that turns any Android device into a simple virtual sound meter. In other words, this application is used to measure the noise or sound level of an environment in decibels.

To use this weird sound meter, all you have to do is open the app. The system automatically picks up noises via the terminal's microphone.

The interface shows the noise level in real time, as well as the minimum, maximum and average levels. In addition, all this information is collected in a graph reflecting the last minute. This graph can be reset at any time by touching the reset button.

To help us better understand the measurements, the tool also includes an info button. If you press it you will see some examples (whisper, conversation, motorcycle...) with the corresponding decibel values.

If you just want to measure the noise level without making your life complicated, that's all you need. It's a simple but powerful app.
