Protect the privacy of your multimedia files

The gallery of our Android smartphone is usually full of all sorts of photos and videos. Whether it's images taken directly from our phone's camera, multimedia files we've received via WhatsApp or photos downloaded from the web. Many of these images can be private and personal and we don't want anyone else to see them. And while almost everyone has their phone protected with a PIN number or pattern lock, sometimes our phone can be left unlocked, giving each of us access to our gallery.

To solve this problem, there are applications like Hide Something that allow you to easily hide any image, GIF or video from prying eyes so that only you (or someone who knows your lock pattern) can access it. Unfortunately it only works with files in your gallery. So if you want to know how to hide your images and videos on Facebook and Instagram, you'll have to resort to a different type of application.

How do I hide photos inside your Android gallery?

Just download the APK of "Hide Something Photos

1. Step 1: Select the Visible tab to access all folders for everyone to see in your gallery.
2. Step 2: Navigate to the folder where the photo you want to hide is located.
3. Step 3: Press on the image in question until it is selected.
4. Step 4: Tap on the icon represented by a ghost.
5. Step 5: Click Accept when the program asks you if you want to hide the image.

From that moment on, this image (the way it works is the same for videos) will no longer be visible in your smartphone's gallery. It can only be viewed via the HD-SMTH application after unlocking it with your pattern. You can see all hidden files on the Invisible tab.
