NetGuard is a useful firewall tool that allows you to restrict or directly block Internet access on behalf of your applications, individually or all at once, depending on the settings you choose. The latter offers you certain benefits, such as reducing your mobile data consumption so you don't run out of MBs, or saving our battery consumption, one of the most appreciated benefits for any smartphone or tablet user. In fact, we can also use them to improve our privacy and prevent uncontrolled data leakage.

How does NetGuard work?

Once you have installed the application, it will detect all the applications installed on our system and display them in a list. In the upper part you can see the classic toggle switch that, if you activate it, will interrupt Internet access for all applications. You can also customize this setting for each application individually by browsing the list and pressing the appropriate icon on the right: one to disable data usage and another to stop using WiFi networks. You can also disable both options if you wish.

If you press on the name of each application, you will open an advanced options menu where you can set certain conditions for Internet access, enable an access log or enable notifications to know at all times which applications are behaving strangely.
