Google Expeditions is the virtual reality app with which we can visit virtually any place in the world (or even outer space) and in different ages and eras.

Google Expeditions was developed using virtual reality technology. It's an educational tool that allows users to make virtual trips around the world or visit monuments and objects to learn more details about them.

Travel into space or visit ancient Rome

With the Expeditions APK installed on our phone, you can travel anywhere in the world or even beyond our planet, in any era: explore Jupiter, the Amazons or travel to antiquity to discover how gladiators fought in the past or what the streets of Pompeii looked like.

The idea behind this app is to satisfy our curiosity but also to offer teachers from all over the world a tool to support their educational actions. All this thanks to the following features:

• Guide: connect a whole class to the same WiFi network and teach a lesson.
• Explore: Visit locations with the help of an immersive virtual reality using a customized headset.
• Download the Expeditions to your device and access them whenever you want.
• Over 200 different expeditions covering different aspects of geography, history, nature, art etc.

By the way, while it's not a must, it's advisable to use Google Cardboard or a similar virtual reality headset for Android.
