AdFree is an adblocker for Android that can be used on both web pages and applications installed on our smartphone in order to avoid invasive adverts.

Avoid invasive ads on your smartphone

We all know that many websites and mobile apps make money from advertising. However, in many cases these ads are quite invasive and make the user's browsing experience or interacting with an app difficult.

Ad blocker for apps and websites

The name AdFree already says very clearly what it is about. It's an app that you can configure as an ad blocker for apps and websites. The app was actually developed for the web paradigm pop-ups and these are often automatically blocked, but new browser windows or pop-up videos open.

This tool works with both installed apps and the two standard Android browsers that currently exist: Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Although it has been a long time since this app was developed and its maintenance is a bit unstable, it could be a good alternative to Adblock Plus or Adblock Browser.
