Google Chrome's great features have led to it becoming one of the best browsers in the world and the favorite for developers who create their own versions through the open-source Chromium. In fact, dozens of forks that we can download for both Windows, Android or iPhone are based on the latter.

Future Chrome updates can be found in Canary

Aside from the stable release and Chromium, Google has a channel called Canary that implements the browser's experimental updates that haven't been tested enough yet. This version of the browser is called Chrome Canary and we can install it on both smartphones and tablets.

Therefore, you'll be able to try out all the updates that Google plans for its browser, but that doesn't mean that they'll all be finally implemented. However, they might be interesting for some developers.

• It's experimental: It's unstable, so don't be surprised if Canary suddenly shuts down or displays an error message
• It receives a lot of regular updates: it can update 7 days a week and consume up to 100MB of bandwidth.
• You can collaborate with the developer community: join the program and share your experience with the browser.
