In China, access to social networks like Facebook and Twitter is blocked due to government-imposed censorship, which is why they have their own social networks. One of them is Weibo, which combines the functions that are present on the two sites mentioned above. It has over 400 million users.

Its name means "microblog" in Chinese and in fact it allows us to post messages of up to 140 characters (and in Chinese that gives room for a lot more content than in English). Here we can discover all kinds of trending content, follow famous people, find publications that interest us, share any type of content such as images or videos...
