Face Slim is an alternative Facebook client that brings together in the same app both the social network and Messenger, the company's messaging and chat app.

At the time, Facebook decided to separate Messenger from its official app. So if you want to post something on your wall while chatting with your contacts, you need to download two different apps. The Face Slim presented here therefore competes more with the Lite app than with the full version.

The alternative version of Facebook Lite

Although we have a lite version here, it integrates the social network and the messenger, so we don't have to download this app and additionally Messenger Lite. This is possible because it is the mobile web version packed in an APK.

As for privacy and stuff like that, though... we should assume that if we're concerned about it, we shouldn't be Facebook users. Furthermore, the developers of this FB Slim claim not to collect user data. If you believe this, download it, it works pretty well and is convenient.
